The famous Maserati 4.7-litre V8 engine that powers the GranTurismo Convertible Sport delivers 454 HP at 7,000 rpm, with a peak torque of 384 lb/ft, thanks to a number of innovative engineering solutions that optimize performance. One example is the reduction of friction, through the use of DLC (Diamond-Like Coating) for the tappets and camshaft lobes.
THE MSP STABILITY CONTROL FEATURES SPECIFIC, SPORTIER SETUPS
The Maserati Stability Program electronic control system features special setups for the GranTurismo Convertible Sport designed for sport-oriented driving with maximum safety. When the Sport button is pressed, the MSP intervenes with even more discretion: the trigger threshold is shifted upward and the system acts mainly on the brakes, without cutting engine power.
A UNIQUE PERSONALIZATION PROGRAM FOR YOUR INDIVIDUAL STYLE
Inside the Maserati GranTurismo Convertible Sport, even the smallest details can be customized: the choice of colors of the leather upholstery, carpets, edge trims, stitching and seatbelts. The moldings are supplied as standard in Dark Chrome, which combines anthracite grey with warm tones, or EcoChrome, evoking the glow of molten metal, and are also available in fine woods or sophisticated varnished shades on request.
The sleek yet imposing front end sports a wealth of newly-designed features. From the front bumper and splitter, to the prominent new grille bearing the iconic Maserati Trident.
With the roof up, the impression is of athletic fluidity, a look enhanced by rounded rear wings and a new bumper design to match the purposeful front.
The rear features a high, centrally positioned exhaust and a new dynamic bumper, designed to enhance the airflow at the rear of the car.
The GranCabrio MC’s powerful look is further accentuated by 20’′ MC Design wheels.
